Cluster Color Palette

Exterior colors of houses in Hunters Green Cluster must conform to the Cluster's approved color palette. Additionally, the color of each house must be registered with the Reston Association Design Review Board (DRB). Before a house can be painted with a different color, the change must be approved by the DRB.

Covenants Requirements

On August 1, 2005, the HGCA Board of Directors distributed to all members a memorandum reminding homeowners and residents that there are legal covenants that they must observe when preparing to make any alterations to the exterior of their house or to their yard. The memorandum also warns homeowners and residents against making any changes to the Association's common ground areas without first consulting the Board of Directors.

Collections Policy

The collection of member dues, fees, and assessment is subject to policies and procedures codified in a Resolution of the Board of Directors.

Parking Survey Report

In the fall of 2000, on the request of a number of homeowners, the Board of Directors, conducted a survey of homeowners and residents to ascertain the level of interest in instituting some form of assigned or allocated parking within the Cluster. As a result of the overwhelming vote for support for such measures, the Board implemented reserved parking effective August 27, 2001.

Parking Policy

As part of its plan to introduce and implement reserved parking in the Cluster, the Board adopted a Resolution of the Board of Directors of Hunters Green Cluster Association Adopting Procedures and Rules to Implement Reserved Parking in Hunters Green Cluster. The Resolution codifies the rules, regulations, and enforcement policy and procedures governing the use of the parking spaces located in the Cluster's common ground.
