Results of Special Meeting

The Hunters Green Cluster Association Board is very proud to announce the results of a special meeting that we held on Saturday, September 28th, both of which have lots of impact for residents and homeowners.

The Board voted in favor to replace the community watch lights across the cluster which light up our sidewalks and streets.  This means that the mishmash of both the "snowglobe" and colonial-style fixtures will both be replaced with a more reliable, more cost efficent and more environmentally-friendly contemporary LED fixture.  We will also be fixing the poles - straightening them out, replacing to all concrete poles and for the front entrances on both streets and the main playground on Indian Ridge Rd, we will replace the 11' pole with a 14' pole for more effective light spread.  A picture of the fixture has been attached to this post for your reference.  We anticipate that the project will begin breaking ground in the next 6-8 weeks with completion expected another 6-8 weeks after that.

Additionally, the Board voted in favor of adding an architectural designer shingle to our cluster standards.  These are the Certainteed Landmark Architectural Designer Shingle available in colors Heather Blend and Burnt Sienna.  The older style flat shingles are slowly being phased out and the new architectural shingle boasts a longer life (50 years vs. 20-25 years that we have today).  If you have any roofing projects in which you may want to take advantage of the new shingle, we will be sure to let the DRB know of our intentions as part of your DRB application approval.
